Turns out Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close was nominated for Best Picture in this year’s Oscars! I guess it’s safe to say that the men behind the film’s production did the book some justice, despite the fact that I highly doubt the movie will bag the trophy as it’s alongside strong contenders like The Descendants, Hugo and The Artist. Needless to say, I am excited to see this one on the big screen. Always have, always will.
